Richard Ring

Ring died Sunday at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston from respiratory failure, according to a company spokeswoman.

NEW YORK — Services for Richard Ring, 60, northeast sales manager for Essex Manufacturing, were held Monday at Schlossberg-Solomon Memorial Chapel in Canton, Mass.

Ring died Sunday at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston from respiratory failure, according to a company spokeswoman.

Ring was with Essex, a rainwear and umbrella manufacturer here, since 1969. He previously worked for Montgomery Ward & Co. for 15 years as a buyer.

Ring is survived by his wife, Jessie; a daughter, Sarah, and three sons, Aaron, Jeremy and Daniel.
