NEW YORK — Robert Forrest has been appointed creative director of the Anne Klein Design Studio, a division of The Anne Klein Co.
He succeeds Burt Wayne, who, as reported, left his position as president of the Anne Klein Design Studio after 17 years with the company.
Forrest’s job will be to work with the various Anne Klein licensees on product development and design and will work closely with Richard Tyler, designer of the Anne Klein Collection.
Forrest will be based at Anne Klein’s offices at 205 W. 39th St.
Forrest has been involved with freelancing as a consultant in licensing for Anne Klein since spring 1993.
Previous to that, he was employed in international sales for Rifat Ozbek and served in the capacity of a consultant to Brown’s of London.
