NEW YORK — Roopal Patel has returned to Bergdorf Goodman as fashion director, women’s ready-to-wear and accessories.

This confirms a report on page 12, Jan. 14.

The post has been vacant since the September 2001 departure of James Aguiar, who went to Nina Ricci.

Most recently, Patel was a market editor at Style.com, prior to which she was a consultant on several projects for Peter Som. She has also worked as a visual merchandise manager at Club Monaco. Earlier, she was a fashion coordinator at Bergdorf’s from 1996 to 1999.

Patel reports to Robert Burke, vice president, senior fashion director for the women’s and men’s stores.
