It’s in the numbers. Representing the biggest consumer segment in the industry, moderate apparel brings in $40 billion at retail annually. Its products range from casual sportswear to affordable career, with a diverse consumer profile. While the brands in the sector might have not have the profile of more upscale names, their volumes are impressive and their consumer recognition is high.
