PARIS — Yves Saint Laurent was released from the American Hospital here on Friday, a spokesman for the legendary couturier said.
"Mr. Saint Laurent is doing better," the spokesman said. "He arrived home this morning."
The spokesman did not offer further details.
Saint Laurent, who retired from fashion in 2002 and has since led a somewhat secluded life, was admitted to the hospital about a week ago after having respiratory trouble. His partner, Pierre Bergé, said Saint Laurent also had trouble walking.
