Dorothee Schumacher’s easy glamour for fall included just a tinge of tough. The designer’s signature bows were there, albeit untied, and grommets and studs were mixed in with her usual crystals and stone embellishments.
There were still plenty of feminine looks, such as satin tops and tulip skirts in engineered floral prints, long loose sweaters paired with short pleated tulle skirts and slinky tops with matching skirts done in panels of sequins. The look was meant to evoke grunge, but came off more like relaxed flapper.
