Glittering eyes — courtesy of Tom Pecheux for MAC Cosmetics — were the order of the day at Badgley Mischka. “The makeup is a playful, colorful fantasy — like the clothes,” said Pecheux, who swept a lovely blend of burgundy, gold and bronze eye shadows from lash lines to brow bones, finishing with a touch of glitter at the temples and a subtle pop of blue-green at the inner eye. Pecheux added orange and pink blush with a light touch at the top of the cheekbones, finishing with a hint of beige-pink gloss on the lips.
Teddy Charles, on the other hand, was going for a “sexy rock ’n’ roll” look for the hair, slicking one side back with Kerastase Double Force hair spray and creating light waves on the other. To avoid a prissy look, Charles used a 1-inch curling iron and then gently brushed curls out, leaving soft waves. “It’s about being glam, but with an edge,” Charles said.
