GLOWING SHOW: The new Glow show at the California Market Center tried to create a tranquility atmosphere with incense, muted lighting and complimentary Red Flower tea provided by Breathe magazine.

There were 26 lifestyle vendors, including Will clothing, Rio Fit yogawear, Speesees organic cotton T-shirts for babies and Kiln Enamel jewelry, at the three-day event that wrapped up Wednesday and attracted boutiques such as Kitson and Intuition in Los Angeles.

Will is a line of ultrasoft cotton tanks, tube dresses, miniskirts and wrap tops created by Suzie Kim, who owns the hip boutique in the local Los Feliz community called Steinberg & Sons. The summer collection, which wholesales for $10 to $50, turns to nature for its colors of forest, ocean and abyss, and for its silk-screened designs of birds and trees.

The show, which overlapped with the recent summer apparel market and the gift and home market, sought to give a venue to the booming holistic industry.

ADIDAS SOCCER DEAL: Adidas-Salomon AG signed an eight-year sponsorship deal with the international football association FIFA on Wednesday, extending an agreement that began in 1970.

Under the contract, Adidas will remain the World Cup’s official sports equipment supplier through 2014 and will have licensing rights to the World Cup and other FIFA events, as well as sales rights for television and stadium advertising. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Adidas chief executive officer Herbert Hainer said he expects the deal to strengthen the company’s position in the worldwide soccer arena.
