Wicked Fashions Inc. has signed a licensing deal with the New York-based Adjmi Apparel Group for a full line of Southpole-branded infant and toddler apparel.

The collections, which will hit retailers including J.C. Penney and Sears this month, include denim jeans and sweatpants and embellished graphic T-shirts and hoodies. The line wholesales from $7.50 to $18. The new brand extension will add to Southpole’s mix of children’s wear, which is produced in-house at Wicked Fashions.

“Wicked Fashions’ chief executive and founder, David Khym, has been looking forward to expanding our youth products to infants and toddlers for a long time, and we now have the right partners who share our business aesthetics,” said Gail Vasquez, vice president of licensing at Wicked Fashions. “The team at Adjmi Apparel Group are experts in the kids’ business and share our ‘plan together, work together’ format. It’s a successful strategy that allows us to partner up with retailers to meet our consumers’ needs and to hit the ground running at the same time.”

Vasquez said they expect to reach $50 million in retail volume within the line’s first three to four years at retail.
