Metallic fabrics added flash to everything from evening dresses to trench coats to sparkle-dusted accessories.
Girly Fifties looks ruled the runways in fine flirty form. Plain, polkadot or floral dresses came in all manner of pastels and prim tops were paired with full skirts crying out for a poodle.
It all began with cargo pants, returning as a wardrobe staple this spring. But overalls and coveralls push the aesthetic a step further.
Giddy, graphic stripes of all sizes gave a distinctly sporty flair to surf-inspired looks and lent dresses a boldly graphic edge.
