You’ve got to give it to Louis Vuitton chief Yves Carcelle —he lives a life his customers would envy. Carcelle and his wife, Rebecca, arrived in St. Moritz last week on the private jet of friends Philippe and Nori Starck for a sophisticated mix of business and pleasure. After a week of skiing and socializing at others’ parties, Carcelle threw one of his own Friday night to celebrate the opening of an expanded Louis Vuitton boutique, just across from the Palace Hotel.

He was still laughing about a small dinner the Starcks hosted the night before, where the French designer took over bar duties and mixed margaritas for his dozen guests, including a bevy of beauties. “Girls, girls, girls!” Starck called out as he made the rounds with a pitcher of cocktails.
