Debbie Talanian worked a palette of mostly gray, black and white for her strong Stella Proseyn collection. She featured brushed Japanese cotton in a buffalo check, raw-edged wool, Italian cut lace and cotton quilted with gold thread, all worked into streamlined shapes with subtle details. Flat-front trousers, shorts and pedal pushers featured banded bottoms; tops had hidden side zippers, and jackets were done with unexpected notches and vents.
