NEW YORK -- Services for Steven Stein, vice president of sales at Carole Hochman Designs, were held Monday in Cherry Hill, N.J.

Stein, 45, suffered a stroke as he was getting off a train in Philadelphia on Friday. He died in a local hospital there on Saturday, according to a company spokesman.

Stein, who was the brother of Carole Hochman, president and director of design services at the firm, had been with the company for 20 years.

In addition to his sister, Stein is survived by his wife, Marjorie; three sons, Joshua, Jason and Andrew, and his parents, Yvette and Herman Stein.
