The Lion Brand Yarn’s 125th anniversary coincides with the event and the company donated all of the yarn on view and created a student scholarship for the show. Lion Brand Yarn was founded in 1878 by the Blumenthal family, which continues to run it today.
Participants include students majoring from FIT’s textile and surface design, fashion design, woven design and fashion knit design programs. The exhibition runs until Nov. 29.
