Designers offered a plethora of trends during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2011, held at The Raleigh Hotel from July 15 to 19. Ethnic influences rang particularly strong, expressed in tribal prints and beading on bikinis or via crocheted monokinis and flowing caftans. Sweeter notes were hit with retro patterns and high-waisted two-pieces, and there was the typical dose of the little black swimsuit.
