NEW YORK — Swimwear designers are already geared up for spring 2003, and they unveiled their latest looks here last week. The big news is coverups, which have taken on a new sophistication of late, in styles that seem likely to supersede the standard oversized shirt once and for all. These are pieces that cross the line between sportswear and swimwear. Another new favorite is the belted suit à la Bond girl, which turned up everywhere this season.
