“Town and country living” is how Leon Green, senior vice president of design at Talbots, described the retailer’s fall collection. “A balance of rich texture and colors with feminine elements and softer shades of autumn,” he added. The texture came via a camel alpaca belted coat and a boiled wool version in blue, while the soft fall hues were best expressed with a floral-printed dress in tones of orange, vermilion and pink.
On a more casual note, there was a chic leopard-print coat shown over a black turtleneck and red pants.
