NEW YORK — Target’s limited-edition, designer collections have sent budget-conscious fashionistas running to the women’s department on a regular basis for almost two years. At last the Minneapolis-based discount chain will attempt to bring a dose of that excitement to men’s wear with a David Bowie–inspired collection from British musician-turned-designer Keanan Duffty.

Bowie by Keanan Duffty debuts on Oct. 14 at most Target stores and The limited-edition collection is separate from the England’s Dreaming line that Duffty already designs for the chain. That collection first hit stores in July 2006 and is currently in 1,400 doors. The Bowie collection will be similarly distributed.
