Tatyana Khomyakova, who is also the designer of the Bettie Page line, reworked her favorite retro silhouettes for the modern-day woman using a palette of autumnal colors — some literal leaf prints were mixed in as well — and textured fabrics.
Funnel collars, high-waisted pencil skirts, cropped jackets and crinolines were favorite themes for day, while the evening segment featured jewel-toned frocks that accentuated the curves. The shapely, buttoned-up wool dresses and coats that opened the show would have made Joan Harris of “Mad Men” proud.
