NEW YORK — The Accessories Council plans to hand out its sixth annual Accessories Council Excellence Awards on Nov. 5 at Cipriani 42nd Street here.

Here are the nominees in six categories:
Designer of the Year: Carlos Falchi, Tom Ford for YSL, Isabella Fiore, Manolo Blahnik and Chanel.
Rising Star Award for Emerging Talent: Michelle K for Skechers, Lulu Guinness, Holly & Would, Mia & Lizzie and Kooba.
Best Advertising Campaign: Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Coach, David Yurman and Echo Design Group.
Innovator of the Year: Roots, Jane Elfers of Lord & Taylor and Timothy Shifter of Le Sportsac.
Retailer of the Year: Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus and Henri Bendel.
“It” Accessory of the Year: Mombasa bag by YSL, chandelier earrings by R.J. Graziano, flash shields by Christian Dior and Puma sneakers.
In addition, Burberry will receive this year’s Hall of Fame Award. Also this year, a portion of proceeds from the event will go to support Project ALS, which funds research into ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
