Designer Victor Wilde took downtown elements like black leather and mesh and used them as the basis for his women’s and men’s looks. They had a noir-meets-camp point of view, punctuated by questionable yellow, red and orange accents and cheeky hardware (Cadillac hood ornaments and tiny metal guns). Best were the diaphanous, tailored parachute silk dresses in white and black.
