NEW YORK — Designers are seeing the light this season. Carolina Herrera is opting for airy printed chiffons, many with reembroidered flowers and cutout hems. Vera Wang, inspired by Ancient Greece, has toga-draped dresses and gowns, adding tulle corsages here and ties there. And designer Piyawat Pattanapuckdee is carrying on the Halston tradition of attention-getting looks, offering bright, sexy dresses with plunging sides or backs.
