Apparently, there’s no such thing as too tenuous a marketing tie. New York retailer Blackton Fifth Avenue raffled off free Peter Pan brassieres the day Grace Kelly married the Prince of Monaco. The “theme of the stunt,” wrote WWD on April 19, 1956, “was ‘Feel like a princess in Peter Pan bras.’”
