When temperatures climb in Los Angeles, the fashionable set heads toward the water for weekend strolls. One of the most popular destinations is Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice Beach, a chic stretch featuring hip boutiques, restaurants and galleries. Habitues here differ from their counterparts on the Boardwalk, who tend to favor bikinis, cutoffs and flip-flops. Printed sundresses and skirts paired with boots and sandals are the norm along Abbot Kinney, as are bright pops of color, fun hats, and, of course, oversize sunglasses. Locals like Maria Bello, Elisabeth Shue, Camryn Manheim and Julia Roberts often blend right into the beautiful crowd.
"I think that all anyone really wants in life is to have people understand us for who we actually are, despite everything," says Ruth Negga. The actress talks "Preachers" season 2 and more on WWD.com. #wwdeye (📷: Dan Doperalski)
"That's something that resonates with me too because I'm so locked into a number. If I go over that number it completely ruins my day so it's nice to get detached from the number on the scale." - Chelsea Handler on Kelly LeVeque's book "Body Love." #wwdeye (📷: John Salangsang)
