With temperatures nearing 80 degrees in Brooklyn over the weekend, function vied with fashion for GoogaMooga-goers. The two-day, food-wine-music festival, which was held in Prospect Park, drew Park Slope stroller-carting mommies and hipster-NYU kids alike, all of whom noshed on bites from some top New York foodie spots (The Spotted Pig, Crif Dogs, Red Rooster, Colicchio & Sons) while listening to The Roots (on Saturday) and Hall & Oates (Sunday). Top trends among the partakers? Thigh-skimming printed summer dresses, high-waisted jean cutoffs and the all-too-ubiquitous straw fedora hat.
