NEW YORK — Three trucks filled with Chaps Ralph Lauren sportswear produced by Warnaco Group Inc. were stolen last week from a truck depot outside Pittsburgh, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The merchandise was valued at about $1.2 million, said Bill Corowley, special agent in the FBI’s Pittsburgh office. Corowley said investigators believe the trucks were stolen between 10:30 p.m. on May 30 and 12:30 a.m. the next morning from the Eastern GPS Truck Terminal in Wall, Pa. He said investigators believe there is still a chance the goods are in the Pittsburgh area.
