A man's tie can say a lot about him. Thanks to a new line of ties called "Made with CARE," that choice can reflect concern for his fellow man.
The ties, which are being promoted by Atlanta Hawk Kevin Willis, are made by the Randa Corporation, a New York private label manufacturer that produces ties under license for Bill Blass and Oleg Cassini. The idea is to inspire other companies to make a similar contribution to society. A portion of every sale goes to support hunger relief programs sponsored by CARE (Cooperative for American Relief Everywhere), an international relief and development organization. The 26 designs included in the line are based on the textiles and artwork of developing countries in the four regions -- northern and southern Africa, the Pacific Rim and the Andes -- that CARE serves.
The 100 percent silk ties are available at Rich's at Lenox Square and Perimeter Mall for $25.
