CRADLE CHANGES: Joseph Cicio joined beauty startup Cradle Holdings as senior vice president on Monday, roughly two weeks after leaving Mayor’s Jewelers, where he was chief executive officer. Cradle also appointed Lauren Freedman vice president of marketing, a new position. She was previously Cradle’s vice president and national sales manager. That spot was filled by Catherine A. Somoza, who was elevated from her post as West Coast field vice president.

L’OREAL NAMES: Julia Fedou was appointed managing director of Club des Createurs de Beauté, the beauty catalog owned jointly by L’Oréal and Groupe 3 Suisses International. Fedou will begin her new functions in the coming weeks and replaces current director Jean-Noel Rivoire, who is retiring. Fedou has been with L’Oréal for 21 years, most recently as director of L’Oréal’s mass market division in Spain. In other news, Guillaume de Lesquen was named assistant managing director of Lancôme International starting Oct. 1. In this newly created post, de Lesquen will report to Lancôme’s recently appointed managing director Marc Dubrule. De Lesquen previously headed up L’Oréal’s Giorgio Armani fragrance and cosmetics division. Fabio Mancone will replace de Lesquen as managing director of Giorgio Armani Parfums et Cosmetiques. Mancone has held positions at L’Oréal — including at Lancôme and Ralph Lauren — and at Unilever and Kraft Foods.
