LONDON — Topshop is upping sticks and moving its fashion show space from the cavernous belly of the Tanks at the Tate Modern to a new specially created space near Regents College in Regents Park.
The space, which centers around the idea of bringing the outside inside, has been designed by Swedish architect Pernilla Ohrstedt, inspired by the park itself. The venue will launch with the Topshop Unique event during London Fashion Week, a runway show that will have grass growing through felt to save the models’ heels from the perils of actual turf. The space also features a Douglas fir installation.
