NEW YORK — Vineyard Vines announced Monday it has entered into an agreement with Major League Baseball Properties to design and distribute a line of its signature preppy-chic neckties and bowties.

The partnership marks the first time the $60 million brand has collaborated with a major professional sports league. The collection will also include men’s and women’s belts, sleepwear, swimwear and boxer shorts—all available in the league’s 30 different club logos.

“We make products that represent the things in life that our customers are passionate about and I know Major League Baseball fans are some of the most passionate people out there,” said Shep Murray, chief executive officer and co-founder of Vineyard Vines.

The MLBP licensed Vineyard Vines line is currently sold at, but will be available at Major League Baseball Clubhouse shops and Vineyard Vines retail stores in the coming weeks.
