From iPods to Mini Me, smaller is better, and less is more these days. In the accessories arena, little bags and small items are likely going to translate into big sales in 2003. From wristlets to embellished coin purses, designers are finding that the carryall, which has been so popular in recent seasons, isn’t the only bag women desire.
Coach, for example, sold twice as many wristlet bags this holiday season as it did in the last year, according to a company spokeswoman. Other firms getting in on the small action are Isabella Fiore, Furla, Liz Claiborne and Maxx New York.
