Surveying the curtains of rain falling before Chanel’s outdoor couture show on Tuesday at the Parc St. Cloud, artist Dinos Chapman surmised it might be “a bit like a wet T-shirt contest – wet couture.”

Still Chapman, who said he and his brother Jake are working on a new work titled “Hell” for a show at White Cube next spring, was relishing the chance to be at the shows, sopping wet or otherwise. “Nice change from the smelly studio,“ he said.

Meanwhile, celebrities spent as much time dodging raindrops as paparazzi. Vanessa Paradis, readying the launch of her new album “Divine Ideal” this fall, hopped over a puddle before claiming her seat. “It’s a pop album, I wanted it to be about music,” Paradis said. “I didn’t want it to be theatrical; it’s something cozy.”

Fellow pop princess Fergie was living it up despite the drizzle. “This is play time for me,” she said, soaking up the attention from the camera crews. The singer is off to London next to support Justin Timberlake’s tour for a week and is also gearing up to unveil a bag line for Kipling at the end of the year.

Songstress Ayo was taking a break from her European tour in support of her debut album “Joyful.” “The launch in the States is set for Oct. 9, I’m very excited,” she said.

Anna Mouglalis, who chatted with Amira Cazar before the show kicked off, said she is busy taking care of her four-month-old daughter, Saül. “Every instant is extraordinary,” she said. Mouglalis certainly kept busy during her pregnancy. She wrote her first script, which she will produce next year, called “Le Gars.”
