White Mountaineering’s Yosuke Aizawa enlisted two basketball teams, dressed in custom-made uniforms, to play a friendly preshow game at a former Olympic stadium before his models took to the court. The collection was both preppy and sporty, with V-neck striped sweaters and zig-zag patterned knit pullovers layered over shorts in red, navy, khaki and mustard. Cropped trousers, striped blazers and white cable-knit vests with gray or navy trim were given a streetwise edge through accessories like wide-knit headbands or plaid baseball caps.
Peter Kim's Los Angeles-based premium denim line has always had its finger on the pulse of youth.
