Authentic Brands’ Nick Woodhouse to Receive Award

The brand management firm's president and chief marketing officer is the recipient of FashInvest’s Brand Innovator of the Year Award.

ABG’S WOODHOUSE TO RECEIVE AWARD: Nick Woodhouse, president and chief marketing officer of brand management firm Authentic Brands Group, is the recipient of the FashInvest’s Brand Innovator of the Year Award. He will be presented with the award Wednesday at FashInvest’s Capital Conference to be held at the Fashion Institute of Technology. The award presentation will include a fireside chat with Woodhouse.

The networking group’s Fashpreneur Award will be presented to Julie Wainwright, chief executive officer and founder of the The RealReal, a luxury consignment site. Wainwright, the former ceo of the now-defunct, pitched to potential investors at the 2012 Capital Conference, and secured $14 million in Series B funding in April, bringing the total raised so far to $22.5 million. Wednesday’s program will include pitches from new start-ups seeking the attention of potential investors.
