ABSOLUTE GLOWER: Johan Lindeberg, dedicated regular of the liquor outfit-underwritten fashion bash circuit, had his own such party on Monday night in New York, the latest in a string of such events to celebrate his recent position as creative director of Absolut vodka’s new luxury brand, Elyx. Held in a between-leases retail space in the Meatpacking District, the proceedings attracted a number of the BLK DNM designer’s cohorts including Nur Khan, Yigal Azrouël, Danielle Snyder, Mia Moretti, Theophilus London, Pamela Love and Mario Sorrenti.
The evening’s real star was Chloë Sevigny, who fronts Lindeberg’s first campaign for the brand, and whose steely eyed visage was blown up to immense proportions throughout the space. The real thing was there too, of course, looking slightly less intense in an off-the-shoulder Rodarte dress, as she posed for party photographers.
