E-commerce intimate apparel company Adore Me, known for believing all sizes are equal, is launching its first activewear collection. The line will be available for online purchases beginning Oct. 1.
Like the intimate apparel, Adore Me’s activewear will range from size XS to 4XL. “We will be following in the brand’s guide principle of inclusivity,” said Adore Me spokeswoman Camille Kress. “Everything will be sold in a set, meaning top and bottom and retail from $49.95 to $59.95.”
Kress said other fashionable mainstream activewear brands don’t address plus-size women and larger customers often have to resort to less fashionable looks to find their size. Adore Me has made fit adjustments in their activewear to address the issues of the larger customer.
She said the new activewear offering is complementary to the lingerie selection. “We want to be a staple in our audience’s wardrobe, no matter where they’re headed next,” she said.
Helen Mears, who heads Adore Me’s creative team and oversees all of the company’s designs, but there will be a dedicated activewear fit expert. The items are available a la carte or through the VIP membership subscription program.
