FERRETTI’S NEW LINE: Alberta Ferretti has inked a four-year licensing agreement with Cutler and Gross for the production and distribution of its new sunglasses line. The collection, which includes six acetate styles, will debut on the catwalk of the upcoming Alberta Ferretti fall/winter show in Milan on Feb. 22, and will also be presented at eyewear trade show Mido in March.

The sunglasses, which will feature clean, linear shapes and which will be embellished with handmade decorations, will be sold worldwide at both Alberta Ferretti flagship stores and the Cutler and Gross boutiques.

This collection represents Alberta Ferretti’s second incursion in the eyewear sector, after a one-year collaboration with manufacturer Elite Group SpA in 2008.
