Thom Browne to Receive Pratt Fashion Visionary Award

The designer will pick up his prize April 25 at a double-barreled event.

ALL ABOUT BROWNE: Months before Michelle Obama gave Thom Browne the honor of wearing his designs to President Obama’s inauguration Monday, the designer quietly agreed to accept another one — this year’s Pratt Fashion Visionary Award. Browne will pick up his prize April 25 at a double-barreled event. Senior fashion students will show their stuff at the school’s fashion show at Center548 in New York and then a party with Browne will follow at The Top of The Standard.

Previous honorees include Hamish Bowles, Catherine Malandrino, Fern Mallis, Narciso Rodriguez, Carmen Marc Valvo and Diane von Furstenberg.
