AMANDA DOES NEW YORK: Actress Amanda Seyfried often plays sweet heroines, but she said Tuesday night that she can’t wait to sink her teeth into her latest role — as porn star Linda Lovelace in the upcoming biopic “Lovelace.” “It’s going to be my most challenging project to date,” she said. “It’s extremely different from what I’ve done before. But her reputation in film — I want to tell her story, and this is a beautiful script.” In the film — which Seyfried said will begin shooting Dec. 20 — she won’t necessarily be immediately recognizable, though. “They are making my hair and eyes brown,” said the blonde, green-eyed actress, “and aging me quite a bit. It helps in telling the story.”
Seyfried was in town for a joint birthday/Clé de Peau party (she is the brand’s face, and her 26th birthday was Sunday) at the Norwood Club. “I love this place — whenever I’m in New York, I tell my friends we have two options for dinner: the Norwood Club and ABC Kitchen, or else it’s takeout,” she said with a laugh.
