PRIZE FIGHT: A purchase order from Canadian department store Hudson’s Bay and two seasons of mentoring by Italian fashion honcho Renzo Rosso awaits the winner of the 24th Andam Fashion Award — along with the main cash prize of 250,000 euros, or $324,645 at current exchange rates.
The judges have named seven finalists — Olympia Le-Tan, Yang Li, Pedro Lourenço, Rabih Kayrouz, Masha Ma, Iris Van Herpen and Alexandre Mattiussi of the men’s label AMI — and are scheduled to meet on July 4 to select a winner.

Past Andam winners include Giles Deacon, Gareth Pugh and, most recently, Julien David.
In addition, there are three finalists vying for the First Collections Award, valued at 75,000 euros, or $97,395. They are Aganovich, Calla Haynes and Christine Phung. That prize bundle also includes exposure at Galeries Lafayette’s Paris flagship.

Judges include Sarah Andelman, purchasing manager and creative director of Colette; Angelica Cheung, editor in chief of Vogue China; and Pamela Golbin, head curator at Les Arts Décoratifs.
