ANYA MOVES AHEAD: Anya Hindmarch has a new minority shareholder: a private Qatari investor group. The British brand said Sunday the deal valued the business at 70 million pounds, or $108.5 million at current exchange. The unnamed investors purchased the minority stake owned by longtime shareholders Kelso Place Asset Management LLP. The company said that Anya Hindmarch remains the controlling shareholder, as well as chairman and chief creative officer. It also said the arrival of the new shareholder is one of a series of steps that will help to accelerate the company’s growth strategy. Earlier this year, Kelso Place bought a majority stake in the Nicole Farhi brand.
