David Hockney, Martin Scorsese to Be Honored at LACMA Gala

The black-tie affair, presented by Gucci, will take place on Nov. 2.

ARTY PARTY: At least one fall gala is getting a jump on the busy November calendar. This year’s honorees at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s third annual Art+Film Gala will be artist David Hockney and filmmaker Martin Scorsese. Also being celebrated is the first collaboration between The Film Foundation (founded by Scorsese), LACMA and the Annenberg Foundation to preserve four films by French filmmaker Agnès Varda. The black-tie affair, presented by Gucci, will take place at LACMA on Nov. 2. Once again, its cochairs are LACMA trustee Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio, while Gucci creative director Frida Giannini serves as Gala Host Committee chair.
