Beatrice Boyle Exhibits Fashion Illustrations

Artist shows 12 works at the London College of Fashion.

ON THE BOYLE: A year after Beatrice Boyle debuted her collection at Browns Focus, she has returned to her roots as an illustrator.

On Thursday night, the terrace at the London College of Fashion showcased 12 works, including photographs of women dabbed with black paint.

The show would have been eerie had it not been for the garrulous artist who spent the evening bouncing about the room – and turning off all the heaters.

“People describe me as anti-fashion, but I’m obsessed with every element of it,” said Boyle, whose next project will be to printing the illustrations onto silk scarves.
