BELLA BUCCELLATI: Maria Cristina Buccellati, granddaughter of jewelry house founder Mario Buccellati, hosted a breakfast at Soho House and a dinner at Chateau Marmont (attended by Christina Hendricks, Monet Mazur and Sasha Alexander) on Tuesday to show off the company’s newest wares, including the first pieces from its vintage revival collection and earrings from its one-of-a-kind traveling collection. “It has been 10 years since I have been here, and I haven’t even seen our new Beverly Hills location yet,” she said.

The store moved last year across the street from its original location in the Beverly Wilshire, where it received prominent (and free) placement in “Pretty Woman.” “The necklace they used on one scene was Boucheron, but we didn’t even know we were in the movie until we saw it,” recalls Buccellati, who oversees the company’s marketing efforts while her father and brother carry on the design. Next up for Buccellati is a pre-Christmas move to a new New York store on Madison Avenue and 68th Street, one of 10 company-owned stores worldwide, and a celebration in 2012 to mark 60 years in the U.S. market.
