BELSTAFF ON SCREEN: Belstaff is marking awards season by curating a collection of its jackets inspired by Belstaff designs that have been worn in films — under the banner “Hollywood Rebels” — along with producing a limited-edition newspaper that celebrates the movie world’s “rebel icons.”
From Tuesday, customers can shop designs such as the Georgina parka, inspired by the Belstaff parka that Angelina Jolie wore in “The Tourist,” the Panther leather jacket that Brad Pitt wore in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and the Phoenix blouson, similar to the design that Kristen Stewart wore in “Twilight: Breaking Dawn.”
Prices for the collection start at $695 for the H Racer jacket, the same rubberized jersey design that Jeremy Renner sported in “The Bourne Legacy.”
Belstaff is also displaying archive designs that the label created for films in its six global stores, such as the leather jacket that Robert Downey Jr. wore in “Iron Man,” and the aviator blouson that Leonardo DiCaprio wore in “The Aviator.”
The label has produced 1,000 copies of the print newspaper, which includes contributions from Kevin Maher, a film critic at The Times in London. The paper’s content is also online at belstaff.com/hollywoodrebels, where visitors to the site have a chance to win a Belstaff leather jacket inspired by James Dean.
