Beyoncé fans created havoc in Milan’s Via Montenapoleone on Monday outside the Roberto Cavalli boutique to catch a glimpse, selfie or autograph of the artist, who was in the store for about 40 minutes. Beyoncé was in Milan for the Italian leg of her Formation” tour and was due to perform that evening at San Siro stadium wearing a costume designed by Peter Dundas for Cavalli. The mustard yellow chiffon dress in the “Hold Up” video in “Lemonade” is also by Dundas for Cavalli from the brand’s fall 2016 collection. The Norwegian designer Instagrammed the mob scene outside the Cavalli banner on his account.
During the weekend, Beyoncé also spent some time in Como zipping around in a red convertible with her husband Jay Z, and the couple had dinner at Milan seafood restaurant “La Risacca Blu” on Sunday evening — all events promptly tweeted by Beyoncé Team Italia.
