EARLY END: Blumarine’s parent company Blufin SpA has terminated its licensing agreement with Italian children’s wear manufacturer Altana SpA, which also produces for Moschino, Dondup and Pinko, among others.

The alliance between the two companies for the production and distribution of Miss Blumarine and Blumarine Baby is ending early, as the agreement was just signed in June in conjunction with the last children’s wear show Pitti Bimbo in Florence.

According to a company statement, the decision is part of a long-term review of the strategies of the license portfolio of Blufin and the spring 2016 collection will be the only result of the partnership. A new partner is expected to be revealed at the beginning of December.
