British clothing brand Boden is partnering with the late storyteller Roald Dahl to recognize landmark anniversaries — 25 and 100 years, respectively.

Boden will bring Dahl’s best-known stories to life in an U.S. exclusive collection for children, available this fall. In collaboration with the Roald Dahl Literary Estate, the Mini Boden collection is inspired by six of Dahl’s stories, “Matilda,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” “James and the Giant Peach,” “The Twits,” Fantastic Mr. Fox,” and “The BFG.”

The brand will host a press event, “Wondercrump Party,” on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Soho House. The event will include an afternoon tea, preview of the collection, a special performance by a cast member of “Matilda” on Broadway, followed by a screening of the movie “Matilda.”

The girls’ and boys’ collection runs the gamut from party pieces to nightwear. A dress, for example, is smothered in a kaleidoscope of candy-colored hues and a book print lines a “Matilda”-inspired dress. Other items in the collection include a Mr. Fox Hoody, Mrs. Fox Dungarees, Mr. Twit Jumper, a Snapperwhipper T-shirt, Giant Peach T-shirt, and Royal Palace Dress. Children’s sizes span two to 12 years, and retail prices range from $19.50 to $125.50. The limited-edition collection is set to launch Oct. 3 at 9 a.m. EST. The brand will be sold at bodenusa.com and Nordstrom.

Dahl, who died in 1990 and would have turned 100 this year, was one of the world’s most successful storytellers, and his stories are available in 59 languages, with global sales estimated to be more than $200 million.
