NEW MEMBER: Brioni has brought on Paola Milani as global communications director, effective Thursday. The position is a new one at the company, senior to all members of the existing communications team.
In her role, Milani will oversee corporate and digital communications, advertising and public relations for the Italian men’s luxury brand, reporting directly to chief executive officer Francesco Pesci.
Milani, who started her career at Ketchum Public Relations, was most recently corporate brand director at Kering in Paris, where she worked extensively on communication surrounding the transition of PPR into Kering. Before her arrival at PPR, she spent eight years as worldwide director of corporate communications for the Gucci Group.
“Paola and the communications team will play a key role in supporting Brioni’s ambitious plans for global growth,” said ceo Pesci. “Her vast experience in the industry and her enthusiasm will help us to develop and promote our brand image and strengthen our position on the market. We will work together to build a solid communications platform that will support our international growth over the next several years.”
