A NUMBERS GAME: London-based designer Paula Gerbase got a jumpstart on London Collections: Men on Sunday night, showing her unisex label, 1205, at Harvey Nichols. Her minimal collection was worn by Kindness, Adam Bainbridge’s band, as they performed an energetic set of songs. “I wanted to show that these clothes can move and be fun,” said Gerbase, who trained on Savile Row and was Kilgour’s head designer for five years.
Decked in a palette of black, navy, gray and white, the band got their funk on for guests including David Gandy, TV presenter DJ Rick Edwards, Aluna Francis of AlunaGeorge and Valentine Fillol-Cordier. Bainbridge, who wore slim navy flannel trousers with a gray stripe down the leg, a white concealed-button shirt and gray blazer swished his long locks mesmerizingly for the crowd.
